AUDIO LEARNING IN LATVIA – PREPARATION DAY

August 23, 2011

This is an amazing experience and opportunity for me.  I am taking audio learning programmes that I am currently producing in English at UListen2.tv and re-recording them in Latvian and Russian.

I am working with Eurofortis a fabulous young and vibrant company based in Riga, Latvia who are supporting schools across using their own quality assessment tools in conjunction with European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) and Moscow State University for Economics, Statistics and Informatics  (MESI) who are currently developing their International Student Programme plan.

This is a VLOG (video log) of my journey into the wonderful world of bi-lingual product development!

TWO BUSINESS DIRECTIONS – TWO LEVELS OF EXCITEMENT!

June 6, 2011

I am very proud to announce that I have a brand new and exciting Voice-Over website which has just gone ‘live’ – you can find it at this URL

http://JozefaVO.TV

This has been a significant achievement for me as for many years now I have dabbled in the area of VO with a dream of doing something very visible and ‘out-there’ but never really making the time to do anything about it – until now!

The last six months have been spent getting myself and my home recording booth ready with the necessary equipment and skills to undertake a variety of voicing commissions, such as:

  • voice-over for corporate training films or business promotions
  • audio books
  • podcasts
  • webinars
  • online learning tutorials and e-learning
  • radio anchor
  • live conference speaking
  • front of camera presenting documentaries or news items

Because of my background and experience in training and learning, I bring additional skills to those looking for a voice-over, these include:

  • script writing for e-learning programmes
  • a unique programme for teaching others instructional design principles (more of this in another post)

For now, I hope you will visit my new VO website and ask you to remember me next time you meet someone who wants a ‘voice’ for their business – thank you for helping me make this dream come true!

SAME DIRECTION – NEW FOCUS

March 11, 2011

I absolutely love training and learning and would never choose to leave my main profession, however, I have another deep love – VOICE OVER!

So I have decided to dedicate this blog to my main business which focuses on training, learning, knowledge and quality and create a whole new blog all about my journey towards becoming a more established voice-over artist.

Józefa’s Journey As A Voice-Over

This then will allow me to explore all the technical and emotional highs and lows of creating my new range of audio books which will help those who find it hard to use their own voice in business, become more confident and competent.

I am also exploring a range of other ways that I can use my voice for radio, reading poetry, link anchor, narration, corporate films, elearning tutorials etc..

Do please read my other blog but don’t abandon me here, I will still have plenty to say about my work in the UK and across Europe and Eurasia.

LOST MY VOICE!!!!!

January 28, 2011

I cannot believe my bad luck – having invested in some superb professional recording equipment, I cannot use it!  I lost my voice at the beginning of 2011 and four weeks into this throat infection, there are no signs of improvement at all 😦

This means I cannot talk without descending into a long drawn out period of severe coughing and loss of breath.

Hate this and the fact that I am unable to work – not happy!
